  Emmie Harriet Shields, died aged 60, at "Wyndang," Boland Avenue,Woy Woy had been ill for the previous ten years.. She had previously resided at Bensville, via Woy Woy where she ran a dairy farm.Four sisters survived her —Ethel, Mrs T. Walsh (Waverley), Mrs S. Francke (Empire Bay, Woy Woy),, Rachael Bromell, (formerly of Springwood and now of Woy Woy)and Tamar, Mrs W Hubbard. Buried on the C. of E. portion of Penrith General Cemetery, chief mounters, besides her sisters, was an old friend of deceased, Mr J. A. Smith, late of Springwood and now of Bensville.
